Microsoft Office Word

Microsoft Word is a word processor developed by Microsoft.

It was created in 1983 with the name "Multi-Tool Word".

 

File extensions: .doc or .docx

 

I use this program whenever I have to create an informative work to print and deliver to my teachers.

Advantages

 

  • It's easy to use;

  • Allows you to create various types of documents: letters, memos, literary texts and many others;

  • Allows you to insert images, videos, sounds, shapes, tables, graphics, allowing the creation of original and creative documents;

  • Newer versions allow you to record in various formats, including PDF that doesn't allow easily change the document;

  • Editing protection through password.

Disadvantages

 

  • Price.

Adobe PDF 

PDF - Portable Document Format - is a file format used to present documents independently of application software, hardware and operating systems.

It was developed by Adobe Systems in 1993.

 

File extension: .pdf

 

I use this program whenever I have to deliver an informative work, in digital support, to my teachers.

Advantages

 

  • The Adobe Reader is free. Some versions of Adobe Creator are also free;

  • It allows viewing on multiple platforms without unformat the content;

  • Allows to secure your documents against unauthorized modifications.

Disadvantages

 

  • Doesn't allow the error correction;

  • Sometimes, it changes the edited images.
