  • See the translation of Portuguese words to the other six languages and vice versa;

Functions:

  • You can study and review what you have learned in school whenever you want;

  • You can do the site's exercises;

  • You have access to several dictionaries;

  • With the code you can get the e-books of your school books;

  • You have access to several resources that facilitate learning.

Stellarium is a free program that allows the users to see the sky in real time.

It's like having a planetarium on your computer due to the fact that some planetariums use the stellarium in their presentations.

  • Learn various languages depending on the language that you speak (example: Spanish to English speakers and English to Portuguese speakers);

Pordata is the actual Portugal database with official and certified statistics about Portugal and Europe.

 

This database is free and available for everybody in Portuguese or in English.

Wikipedia is a free educational website that was released in 2001 by Jimmy Wales and Larry Sanger. Wiki (fast) pedia (encyclopedia) has 500 millions visitors per month.

 

It's available in 287 languages and its official website is: www.wikipedia.org (click on the image to visit it).

It's a website often used although sometimes the information isn't correct.

You can:

  • Learn more about many themes;

  • Search the theme that you want to learn more about in its search engine;

  • Correct errors or update the information in the site if you have an account;

  • Create a new page about what you want if you have an account.

Infopédia is a free Portuguese educational site that was released by Porto Editora in 2003.

 

The official site - www.infopedia.pt (click on the image to visit it) - is a junction of dictionaries, in a total of 22.

 

It includes 7 languages: Portuguese, English, Italian, French, Spanish, German and Dutch.

Escola Virtual is a paid Portuguese educational site that was released by Porto Editora in 2005.
