He studied in Peniche, Almeirim and Madrid, but his school life was interrupted twice by a bone illness that forced him to stay in bed for three years.

 

He wrote poetry and prose and was an elementary school teacher, a psychologist, a historian and an actor.

 

At 14 years old he began writing in the newspaper "A Voz" (The Voice).

 

He wrote articles for magazines "Flama" and “A Lente” (The Lens), for the weekly “A Voz de Domingo” (The Sunday’s Voice) and for the newspapers “Juventude Operária” (Youth Workers Movement), “O Penichense" and “Jornal do Mar” (Sea’s Journal).

 

He had several programmes on radios like 102FM RADIO, Portuguese Radio Club or Radio Renaissance.

 

He has published several books that show real themes to Peniche county as “A Nau dos Corvos” (The Ship of the Crows - picture 1) or “A Maldição das Bruxas de Ferrel”  (The curse of Ferrel's witches - picture 2) which is fiction book based on true events that focuses on Ferrel people's resistance to attempt to impose a nuclear central in their town.

 

In many of his books he write about the sea-land theme.
